A dangerous substance which is to be marketed in Finland will have a label that contains the following:

• the name of the substance as found in the Annex 1 (point 1)
• EC-number (9). If the number is found in the Decision by the Ministry of Social Affairs and Health for dangerous substances, the label will contain the remark: "EY-merkintä, EG-märkning" (10)
• the name and contact information of the importer, manufacturer or his representative (7),
• hazard labels and their text descriptions (2),
• standard R-phrases that describe the danger (4),
• standard S-phrases that describe the safety measures (5)
